National recording artist/actor JAZZIE REDD is noted for the national success of his smash hit single & video "I Am A Dope Fiend" released on Pump/ Quality records selling over 400,000 copies nation-wide! An anti-drug rap song that gained him instant recognition in the music industry as early as 1992.

Jazzie has also done some work on Robert Townsend's film "The Five Heartbeats" for 20th century Fox, as well as "The M.C Hammer Story" for VH1 and had a featured role in the A.B Harris film "Deadly Words",and has also starred in the hit gospel stage plays "Lord I Wont Complain" by Carol Eisom, "Dont You Wanna Go To Heaven?" by Loretta Francisco-Norris, "When Momma Prays" by Evangelist Jerry P. Beasley, "Blue Front Blues" by Roseadrian Productions. You can also catch Jazzie Redd in the Wreckshop Records film "The Dirty 3rd part 2."

Jazzie Redd is also a professional D.J and CEO of his own entertainment company (RLE Entertainment). He has worked at KTSU 90.9 F.M as an air personality and on 97.9 The Box (KBXX) F.M as an air personality, as well as a mixer for ABC Radio and has made numerous contributions to the music and entertainment industry for the past two decades with multiple accolades and credits!
