As you know a powerful 7.0 magnitude earthquake rocked Haiti just before 4 PM central time Tuesday January 12 th bringing death and destruction to this improvised nation.  hot 97.9 invites you to join us as we join all Americans in extending a helping hand to to the survivors of the immense disaster.  On this page you will find resources which will  help your effort to relive the suffering of the Haitian people. 

Contributions to The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops and Catholic Relief Services as they respond to immediate emergency needs in Haiti can be made to the  Diocese of Lake Charles, 414 Iris St. Lake Charles, LA 70601 or on line at CRS Needs Your Help for a secure link.
